A recent survey done by the ACM (Aerospace Components Manufacturers) showed a significant challenge when it comes to the supply chain. While only 15% of those responding had to shut down during the pandemic, 50% are experiencing supply chain disruptions and 60% have seen a negative impact to their delivery schedules.
Aerospace isn’t the only manufacturing sector hit with this challenge. A recent article by Industry Net discusses the impact of supply shortages for manufacturers across the country. Although the article focuses on semiconductors, steel, lumber, containers and plastics, it highlights the challenge all manufacturers are facing with their supply chains.
