Manufacturing Day 2020 was October 2nd – the theme was “Build the modern manufacturing workforce of tomorrow”.
“As manufacturers seek to fill 4.6 million high-skill, high-tech and high-paying jobs over the next decade, MFG Day empowers manufacturers to come together to address their collective challenges so they can help their communities and future generations.”
CTmrg decided to start our 6-part Manufacturers Workforce Summit Series during Manufacturing Month 2020. This series is not only FOR manufacturers but it’s also BY manufacturers. It will cover a broad range of workforce issues.
The next webinar will be held Wednesday, February 17, 2021 (10:00am-11:30am) Leesa Schipani (CTmrg board member) will moderate a discussion with representatives from several CT manufacturers. They will provide insight into their successes both with recruitment and retention. It will be a best practices session with specifics on practical implementation.
There are many other topics that concern manufacturers that won’t be covered in the summit. However, there are several companies and organizations that are stepping up during this new normal to provide useful content.
We would like to highlight some of those webinars…
