Beth Devine created the CT Manufacturers Resource Group (CTmrg) in response to a need in the manufacturing community. As a provider of business development and marketing services to manufacturers, she saw that small and medium sized manufacturers often lack the expertise and/or manpower to take advantage of programs available to them. This included vetting experts for services and products they need and access to qualified workers to grow their company. She decided to pull together her network of providers on their behalf. CTmrg is dedicated to combining resources to help build the strongest possible manufacturing environment.
As she continued down the path to provide manufacturers with vetted resources she found they struggled with two other issues – access to programs/funding and workforce development. By partnering with Workforce Boards and Educational Institutions, navigating programs provided through both the state and the federal government, and vetting the best resources available, Beth has been able to (and continues to) assemble one source for information that’s critical to helping manufacturers grow their businesses.
